The Škofja Loka Passion Play which is performed every six years is the largest open-air theatre production in Slovenia bringing together more than 1000 volunteers. The Town of Škofja Loka takes over the production role, while the Capuchin Monastery in Škofja Loka is responsible for protecting its religious heritage.
